  • Jonathan Rehdantz had a long criminal history including 3 convictions of drunk driving, resisting/obstructing an officer and six counts of drug possession. Then he took a narcotic drug, known to cause anxiety, confusion and loss of vision. [7 & 8]
  • 20 minutes later, he got behind the wheel and struck and killed a 61-year woman. [9]
  • But Madison liberal Joanne Kloppenburg sided with a judge who excluded his use of methadone as evidence. The homicide charges were dropped, and the man went free. [10 & 11]
  • A man was accused of sexually assaulting his adopted daughter as early as six years old. [4]
  • He was found guilty of exposing her to a video of a sex act. The perpetrator appealed, and Madison liberal Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg reversed his conviction on a technicality. [5]
  • The Supreme Court said Judge Kloppenburg was wrong, and overturned her ruling. [6]
  • Daniel Fierro is a repeat offender who was convicted of beating his wife in front of their 2-year old daughter. He’s been convicted of disorderly conduct 7 times, including criminal damages to property, criminal trespass to dwelling and bail jumping — all since becoming an adult in 2005. [1]
  • He was charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child when he sexually assaulted a 15-year old child. Fierro pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 15 years. [2]
  • Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg sided with the defendant when Fierro appealed his case, sending it back to the circuit court for a new hearing. [3]

Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg sided with a convicted sex offender with a history of criminal activity, sending his case of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child back to the circuit court for a new hearing.

Kloppenburg is soft on crime. The courts have to protect our citizens and children — NOT criminals.
